APN Outdoor to partner with Aerva on Digital Billboard technology

AUCKLAND: Leading Outdoor media operator, APN Outdoor, today confirms that it has chosen to partner with US-based software company, Aerva, as the technology provider for its expanding Digital Billboard network.

Aerva technology enables real-time interactivity between mobile, social media applications and Digital Billboards and will replace existing software across APN Outdoor’s entire Digital Billboard portfolio. 

Via the use of Aerva technology APN Outdoor will make it easier for their advertisers to create and manage highly sophisticated digital Outdoor campaigns minus the perceived complexity or huge expense. Additionally, all of APN Outdoor’s digital campaigns will be managed locally from the company’s Parnell office.

APN Outdoor Digital Billboards will be upgraded to Aerva software in three stages. The first stage will commence mid-July at Christchurch Airport. At the end of July, second stage work will begin on APN Outdoor’s Digital Billboard in Auckland CBD and stage three will get under way in early November at Auckland Airport.
