AUCKLAND: Leading Outdoor provider, APN Outdoor, launches a New Zealand first today when they switched on Auckland’s first large format, high definition, roadside Digital Billboard in the CBD.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, APN Outdoor invited Auckland Mayor Len Brown to switch on the Digital Billboard at the APN outdoor launch event on July 1st.
The Digital Billboard is a 27sqm LED screen that will feature continuous rotating advertising to busy Queen St with six advertisers simultaneously going live: New Zealand Lotteries, BMW, Freeview, Holden, Panadol and Coca-Cola.
The launch event brought together the key stakeholders such as members of Auckland City Council and industry influencers who helped APN Outdoor bring the idea from a concept to a reality.
Phil Clemas, General Manager – New Zealand, APN Outdoor explains this significant milestone for APN Outdoor: “Outdoor is the world’s oldest form of advertising and still remains to be the most inventive when it comes to recreating itself to stay current. The launch of Auckland’s first large format, high definition, roadside Digital Billboard keeps us right at the fore of the technological developments in our industry.”
The Queen St Digital Billboard is a part of the bigger APN Outdoor trans-Tasman Digital roll out for APN Outdoor.
